Big Idea: Christ obeyed the Father’s will so we can resist the people’s will.

I. Arm yourself with Christ’s attitude toward sin & suffering (vv. 1-2).
II. Live for the will of God & not the will of man (vv. 2-3).
III. Trust in Christ to vindicate you when reviled (vv. 4-6).
