Summary
In Acts 15, there were racial tensions as Gentiles were coming into the new Christian community without maintaining the ceremonial requirements found in the Law of Moses. Peter’s eloquent sermon to the assembled elders emphasized that they, as well as the Jews, had their hearts “cleansed by faith.” This sermon explores the implications for the mission of the church of God’s simple plan to save everyone by faith, “without distinction.”
